Ballroom Dance every Saturday from 8-11 P.M. on the BEST dance floor in Kansas City. The music is great and is a mix of Ballroom, Latin, & Swing!

During December, join us for Nightclub Two Step Classes on Saturday night.

 Ballroom Basics (Learn to Ballroom Dance!) (sat)  Map (Lesson)
This class is specifically designed for Beginning Ballroom Dancers and couples who want to learn to dance for their wedding reception. The class is held in Ballroom B (downstairs) at Walters Dance Center. We rotate in class, so a partner is not needed. (You will learn faster if you rotate, but if you have a partner, you can choose to not rotate.)

At the end of the session, you should feel comfortable enough to attend our regular group classes and/or attend our Saturday night dances to have fun and to practice your new moves. As an added bonus, you will receive 4 FREE PASSES to Walters Dance Center Saturday Night Beginning Ballroom Class & our Saturday Night Ballroom Dance.

The class is limited in number to allow for more personal attention (Pre-registration is required to guarantee a spot in the class.)

In this 9 week course I am teaching a basic hip/hop routine which I add onto to it, as my class learns each 8 count. In this class I am also teaching the beginning steps of gliding, waving, and popping. I've won a couple talent shows, 1 at Penn Valley, also I taught a hip/hop routine to an AAU Cheerleading Competition Team, who ended up taking first place. Hip/hop is something I can teach, but the street style is more of my style. My class is made up of 30% hip/hop, 70% street style. Be ready to sweat, jam, glide, wave, and pop/lock. But most of all I want you to become the dancer you want to be. I'm Ready to teach you. Are you ready to learn?
