Dave Stephens is a swing band leader in Kansas City. His band, in various configurations (i.e. The Dave Stephen's Swing Orchestra), remains one of the most heavily booked bands in the area. Most nights of the week he is playing a gig. The music is big band music and can range from jump jive to classic ballroom, even polka. How much of each depends on the audience.
